Hey there, Profitable Musician!

Today I've got a quick tip and a short podcast for you (we're talking 2 minutes and 8 minutes cause if your fall is busy like mine, I know you'll appreciate the brevity:).

This month in the Female Musician Accelerator, our Get-It-Done Week is focused on installing a complete booking system that will reduce friction in booking quality gigs.

So in keeping with the theme, today's tip is something that takes just 2 minutes that you can do right now to help you get booked.

Why it works:

1. Not many other artists are doing it. It will help you stand out and be remembered by the venue or event planner
2. It creates a genuine human connection with the decision-maker

What is it?

Send an audio or video message (video provides more connection, but audio is great because you can do it in your workout clothes:).

This can be done over email, but it works especially well on social media to connect with new venues (I like IG DMs for this).

Take just 2 minutes to tell them what you love about their venue, event or social account and why you're connecting with them.

Then give them a simple call-to-action to reply.

That's it!

Simple, yes.

Extremely effective, double YES.
