🆘Escape social media in December (permission inside!)

PROFITABLE MUSICIAN WEEKLY NEWSLETTER

November 12, 2025

Hey there, Profitable Musician!

If your holiday calendar looks anything like mine, it probably makes you both smile and sigh at the same time.

Between school concerts, church services, office parties, community events, extra rehearsals, family traditions, and the gigs that suddenly land on every day of the week (not just the weekends), December can feel like a joyful blur.

You love it. You want to be present for it.

But deep down you might be feeling the weight of one more responsibility that doesn’t fit: the constant hum of social media asking for your attention.

Maybe you’re wondering, “What will happen if I just step away for a bit?”

That tiny voice inside might be saying you need a break, yet the pressure to stay visible keeps you glued to your phone...

🎧Escape Social Media & Still Grow Your Audience

.When I talked with Seth from Social Media Escape Club, we both laughed about how easy it is to fall into the social media trap.

He said something that stuck with me: “If social media starts feeling like a job you didn’t apply for, that’s your cue to take a step back.”

I think that’s especially true this time of year.

You’re not the same person you were in your twenties, when you could live on caffeine and late nights and still have energy to post, perform, and make memories.

Now you have real responsibilities, people who need you, commitments that matter, and a desire to actually enjoy this season instead of rushing through it.

Here’s the truth most of us forget: stepping away for a while won’t erase your progress. It won’t make your fans forget you. In fact, they might respect you even more for showing that it’s okay to rest, to focus on what truly matters, and to return refreshed instead of burnt out.

Because if you ignore that pull to slow down, you’ll pay for it in another way.

You’ll either spread yourself so thin that everything feels mediocre—or you’ll have to say no to the holiday traditions that fill your heart because you’ve run out of time and energy.

Neither of those options serve your art or your life.

So this season, give yourself permission to unplug a little. Protect your peace, your joy, and your creativity. The online world will still be there when you come back.

And if you want to step away but still keep your music world looking professional and welcoming while you rest, I’ll be sharing something during our upcoming "5 Days of Deals" happening November 24-28 that can help.

A simple visual system that lets your Instagram stay active while you’re off enjoying life. It's our Insta Fan Connection 9-Grid System.

And of course since we're talking about "5 Days of Deals", it will be available for a huge discount plus a cool bonus!

If you’d like to make sure you see this deal and the other 4 (since it's on this steep discount for one day only) and qualify to get an exclusive bonus with purchase: a “Get It Done” week with me in December where I’ll help you set SMART goals for a breakthrough 2026...

This holiday, let’s trade pressure for presence. You deserve to enjoy the moments you’ve worked so hard to create. I know I plan to.

Always in your corner,

PROFITABLE MUSICIAN: FEM FRIDAY EDITION November 7, 2025 Happy FEM Music Friday! When my daughter was four, I tried to teach her piano. From the very beginning, it was a battle. She had this fierce little streak of perfectionism, and if she couldn’t play a song exactly right, she didn’t want to play it at all. Getting her to practice was harder than convincing our cat Nutmeg to take a bath. The moment something sounded off, she’d slam her tiny hands down on the keys and declare that she was...
